This Privacy Policy describes how Sparkbuilt Labs, LLC, the operator of Craft Calculators, handles information related to this website.

Information we handle

Craft Calculators is designed to work without requiring an account. Calculator inputs run in your browser and are not intentionally sent to or collected by this site.

Analytics and logs

Cloudflare hosts and protects this site and may process technical information such as IP address, pages requested, device and browser type, approximate location, referrer, and timestamps to deliver, secure, and troubleshoot it.

With your analytics consent, we use Cloudflare Zaraz to send limited interaction events to Amplitude so we can understand which calculators and offers are useful. These events may include the page path, calculator identifier, action performed, link placement, destination domain, product identifier, purchase value and currency, and related technical information. We do not send calculator entries, calculated results, raw material costs, email addresses, names, full URLs, or URL query strings to Amplitude.

Our Amplitude project uses the United States data region and a rolling 12-month event-retention period. You can reject analytics in the consent prompt or reopen Cookie preferences from this site's footer. Blocking or rejecting analytics does not affect calculator access or results.

Email signups

If you sign up for a free download or email updates, we collect the information you submit, such as your email address and any optional name or preferences. We use it to deliver the requested resource, administer the subscription, and send updates or offers you agreed to receive. An email service provider may process this information for us.

Marketing messages will include an unsubscribe link. You may unsubscribe at any time; we may retain a limited suppression record so we can honor that request. Service or delivery messages related to a request or purchase may still be sent when necessary.

Purchases and downloads

If paid downloads are offered, the checkout provider will process payment and transaction information under its own privacy policy. We may receive contact details, order details, payment status, and support messages needed to deliver the file and support the purchase. We do not intend to receive or store full payment-card numbers.

Affiliate links

Some outbound links are affiliate links, labelled “affiliate link” where they appear. If you follow one, the retailer or affiliate network may receive technical and interaction information, set its own cookies, and attribute a later purchase to Craft Calculators. Their privacy policies govern their handling of that information.

The only affiliate program in use today is the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. Our Amazon links open an Amazon search page and carry a tracking identifier that tells Amazon which page and placement you came from. Amazon sets its own cookies and currently attributes a purchase you make within 24 hours of that click; if you add an item to your Amazon cart during those 24 hours, a purchase of it can still be attributed for as long as that cart entry lasts, which Amazon sets at 89 days. Amazon reports clicks, ordered items, and commissions to us grouped by that identifier; those reports do not name you or let us connect a purchase to a person. Amazon's privacy notice governs its handling of that information.

Advertising

Craft Calculators does not currently display third-party advertising or enable advertising technology in the site code. Before that changes, we will update this policy and provide any consent or opt-out choices required for the technology and visitors involved.

How information is shared

We share information only as needed with providers that host the site, deliver email or files, process purchases, provide analytics, or support affiliate attribution; to comply with law or protect rights and safety; or as part of a business transfer. These providers handle information under their own terms or their agreements with us.

Retention and choices

We keep personal information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above, including legal, accounting, security, and unsubscribe obligations. You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information associated with your email address. Some information may need to be retained when required by law or for legitimate recordkeeping.

Children's privacy

Craft Calculators is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Policy changes

We may update this policy as the site's providers and features change. The date above identifies the latest revision.
